Methodology
From
the initial discovery meetings to the final implementation your project
will be clearly defined, monitored and implemented based on six key
values:
| 1. |
Know
Your Client: We'll learn how your business works,
and build a long relationship helping you make it work better:
day-to-day, month-to-month and year-to-year, just as we've done
for hundreds of other organizations. |
| 2. |
Plan
First: A project is often conceived from the
top down, with a big idea. But it is built from the ground up,
by clearly defining and tracking every task, every resource,
every day. A tight plan is something demanded by our clients,
our managers and every member of our development team. |
| 3. |
Show
Your Work: It is important that the goals, requirements
and scope of a project be agreed upon and understood by all
involved. We'll review and sign a detailed project blueprint
before work begins including:
- Project
charter
- Design
Storyboards
- Content
- Site
Map
- Functional
Requirements Document
- Technical
Infrastructure
- Promotional
Needs
To ensure
the continued transparency of your project, we update you with
evaluation prototypes and maintain a thorough change control
process and document library. |
| 4. |
Focus
on the User: A project has many stakeholders
and many contributors. Our usability experts make sure the focus
stays where it belongs by working closely with your internal
users, researching your target audience and testing the site
before completion. |
| 5. |
Complete
the Project: This policy is not as simple as
it sounds. In many organizations, projects suffer from the "90%
rule"; they get to be "90% complete" and stay
there. Somehow that last 10% ends up being half the project
life-cycle.
Our Project Managers and Quality Assurance experts spot potential
bottlenecks before we get stuck in them. They start with a good
plan, closely monitor actual progress, and deal with possible
issues when they first arise, instead of letting trouble spots
grow.
This lets our task centered developers work through your project
milestone by milestone keeping the same vigor, skill and attentiveness
to detail from the first day to the last. |
| 6. |
Continuous
Improvement: Every project carries it's own
lessons. Once complete, we'll analyze yours together: How did
the final reality compare with our original assumptions? What
issues arose along the way, and how were they dealt with? What
impressed you the most, what could've been improved? |
For more than
15 years, we've learned from our successes and our mistakes, from
our developers and our customers to ensure that we're always at the
top of our industry and always getting better.
